I felt like writing a bunch of random questions from the jumble that is my brain, so I will :D
If I was to go to Neverland, where I wouldn't grow older, would my mind and brain stay at the same age that my body is, or would they develop independently? Would my body develop at all?
How many clouds would it take to be able to support a person? I've always wanted to sleep on a cloud, they look so comfortable. And I'm going to completely ignore the scientific aspect of anything cloud related.
Why can't Tomorrow ever come? By the time you get to tomorrow, it's today. If you travel forward in time to the day after the day you started out in, are you in tomorrow or today?
Honestly, what is so hard about being polite to people?
We don't like the rain sometimes, because it's uncomfortable, but what if we lived in huts, without technology? Would we embrace the rain then? Somewhere warmer, of course.
Where do our thoughts come from?
Why are celebrities given such special treatment? They're just like us, only richer.
Where is sleep? We always say we are going to sleep, but where is it and how do we get there?
Who decided what beautiful is?
Who decided what can be a word and what can't?
What's the definition of intelligence? It most certainly isn't IQ.
What would happen if adults kept their creativity and no one had to be "sensible"? Would that make the world a more interesting place?
Yes, this is the kind of brain I live with :D

Random stuffs
Anyone ever feel like teachers (or curriculum, depending on whether you're homeschooled or not) decide that one week, they're going to pile on the work, and it takes you forever, then other weeks they give you almost nothing or stuff that's easy enough to finish in 20 minutes. honestly, people, space it out!
It seems that all of my friends are growing up really quickly. Not that I'm not growing up, but it's like they're growing up too fast, mostly in the area of relationships. Is it really necessary to have a boyfriend/girlfriend at this age? It scares me sometimes, cuz I remember a lot of these people when they were little, and looking at them now, it's like, what happened? It doesn't help when I see some friends applying for college, or think of the fact that they're going to college next year. I wish I had some sort of universal remote so I could pause life sometimes, it's just going by way too fast.

One problem that I've been struggling with lately, and now more than ever, is why I do the things I do. I've found that when I do things, like trying to achieve some high goal in academics or something, I can't honestly tell myself that I'm not doing this so I can get the praise of others. Sometimes, I brag or show off because I feel like I need other people's approval to feel good. Can anyone relate?
In May of this year I went to a retreat called JAM, and the speaker told us about how when we do things for praise, it just leaves us empty, and doesn't do anything for us in the end. He told us about how it doesn't matter if we get praise or not from people, but since God made us the way we are and He is the reason that we are what we are, that's the only thing that matters. At the time I was extremely touched by that message because I really struggle with that. I feel like I need a big reminder like that once in a while(Ok, more often than that) so that I don't feel like an idiot when others can do things that I can't. It seems to be part of human nature not to be content with what we have or any abilities that God has given us, whether we know what they are or not.

My life at present
So right now, things are starting to get a bit nuts at school. High school needs no explanation, it always is this insane. I have labs to do, lab reports due, a PJAS project to start working on, a social studies textbook that's falling to bits, and a backpack that has gt to be at least twenty pounds, i kid you not. On top of all this, the school is giving us laptops to use and cherish for the next four years of our lives, excluding summers. I swear, if all four years of high school are like this, I'm going to need some serious therapy before college! Thank goodness, as my dear chum Becky said, God's in control of my life, not me. Otherwise, who knows what would happen?

India!
Hello all chums! I'm typing this from a computer in India, and i am having an amazing time! we first went to Singapore and Malaysia, which were fun places. we went to a bird park in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was the coolest thing. by holding a cup of milk in my hand, i had at least 6-7 birds covering my arms and shoulders. i even got one on my head!
Right now it is 7:50 am here. I've been waking up a lot earlier here that i would in the U.S., but it better than before, when i would wake up around 4am. i'm still adjusting to the time zones, so i will usually start getting tired around 7pm, maybe earlier.
I'm off, chums, breakfast calls! I'll update more later, adios to you all:)

8 more days!!!!!
I am sooooooooooooooooooo excited!!! In about 8 days, I will be on my way to New York to go to my parent's friend's parent's house to go to JFK International Airport to get on a plane at said airport to go to Singapore! From there, we go to Malaysia for a day or so, then I believe we go back to Singapore (unless we stay in Malaysia) and take a flight to India. we stay with grandparents for a while, and then we go touring in India. As far as i know, we are going to Goa, which is a beachy area; Agra, home of the famed Taj Mahal; Dehli; and Jaipur, which is full of old farts. no not farts, forts. old FORTS.
intergalactic chums, i must bid you all adieu. stay tuned for more in the near future.

More science flotsam and jetsam
Here's some more stuff on our project:
There are many different natural causes that cause global warming. So, Al Gore, climate change isn't ALL our fault. There's an inconvenient truth for you! They can range from chnges in earth's orbit (it didn't know the earth did that) to changes in the sun's intensity (i didn't know the sun could do that either). Okies dokies, must shut this computer down now. Do not distress, my intergalactic chums, my next post will not contain such nerdiness. or boringness, for that matter. And for all you people who are like Tom Fogel, I speak to you: just because climate change isn't all our fault doesn't mean we shouldn't do something about it.
Cheerio,

Oh, dear
Mr. Hermann just told us that he has an idea. this can't be good.
So i left my flashdrive at home, which i will need for my project on climate change, so i'm going to save everything on here. intergalactic chums, prepare to be educated! Yes, I went there! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! okay, back to sanity.
Number 1: we're supporting the viewpoint that global warming is both a natural cycle and anthropogenic.
#2. We're doing a video, in which we will tell the world (i should totally put the video on here so that you guys can see my evil geniusness... i mean my eco-friendlyness, of course.)
That's all for now, folks. off to social studies and an eye appointment later. hope i don't have to get glasses or anything.

Bored
Hello, my intergalactic chums. I'm currently at school, doing absolutely nothing. well no actually i'm posting and half listening to my friend saying her PJAS ( Pennsylvania Junior Acadamy of Science) speech. Speaking of which, my life is rather hectic right now. Here's what's happening in my life coming up:
May 16-18: PJAS state meet at Penn State U.
May 21-23: Jam, a program from church taking place at Philadelphia Bible University.
June 16: Moving Day!
June 18: Leaving for India, Singapore, and Malaysia.
In the middle of this we obviously have to pack for India and moving. Our basement is already full of boxes. well, that's my little vent about my life.

Becca
As you can see by the title, Becca Williamson, one of the few and proud readers of this blog, has this day left the country to go back to Honduras. Becca and her family are missionaries in Honduras, working in a camp called Manantial de Vida, which the Williamsons said means "Spring of Life", or something of that nature. My friend Hope and I tried calling Becca today in several different classes at school. All f our teachers were extremely understanding, so Hope and I were allowed to leave class to call. We first called in science class, but Becca and her siblings were out somewhere. When we called again second period, they still weren't back. Finally, Becca called me in math. My teacher told me to pick up the phone, but of course I ran out into the hall. And then, who should come running after me but the entire math class! They all said hi to Becca, then Mr. Wallin, my math teacher, said hi to Becca. After that everyone said bye to Becca and went back in. Becca and Ellie, if you are reading this, I hope you know you are being missed extremely badly. Email as soon as possible! Talk to you soon!:) And now I'm sad that Becca's gone.

Another ER visit
This ill be a short post, but I forgot to put this in my last post. Anyway, my 10-year old brother was riding his bike and swerved to avoid my youngest bother on his bike. He flipped over on the bike or something, and hit himself really hard in the ribs and/or hip with the handlebars. An hour later, he was still screaming from the pain, so my dad and I took him to the emergency room at Bryn Mawr hospital. We had to wait somewhere between 2-4 hrs total, but int he end, he just had a bis scrape on his side and elbow, and some bruising. Why on earth am i present when these things happen, and why do they always happen on Saturday nights?!?

Vision
okay, this is a bit overdue, but i have only just gotten the chance to tell all about Vision conference. Vision is this all day christian conference, where we have speakers and have worship and go to a concert at night. the speaker this year was Jeremy Kingsley, and he was a really good speaker. i don't remember everything that he said, but some things that really stuck with me were: 1. God has a heart for the nations. It's written all over the bible, especially the New Testament. 2. We can be ridiculously prideful. he told us about a time when he went to a conference and when they started singing, realized that he had been placing his life over Jesus. he told us that he had had this image of a huge crowd of people and he was in the middle, riding a horse. Jesus was going through the crowd, ad when he reached him, he said to Jeremy Kingsley, "You are a selfish prideful person. Now would you please get off my horse." That sort of hit me cuz i can be pretty prideful, too. Overall, the conference was awesome.
There was also this band called Rielly playing at Vision. Apparently they used to be called the John Rielly Band. Anyway, they led worship throughout the day, and they were amazing!!!!! I got to meet them all and got their autographs as well. It was really cool. For the concert at night, another band called Stellar Kart played. We had to leave early tho, cuz the conference was in lancaster. I really sad about that, because the were really good.
Final news for the day: SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!! I love this weather!

Insanity
This whole house hunting and selling business is hard work! For any of you that I haven't told, our house is officially for sale. And if anyone is wondering, which they probably aren't, we even have a for sale sign on our front lawn. That makes it official. Anyway, we put in an offer for another house in Springfield, and my parents and the contractors (the house hasn't been built yet) are going back and forth about what should e put into the house, and the final price we have to pay. In addition to this craziness, we're also trying to book tickets to India at the same time, so my mom is spending a lot of time on the computer trying to find us tickets to India via Singapore. The end result to all this will be quite interesting.
On another note, on Saturday, I'm going to Vision! Vision is an all day Christian conference, and my friend Becca's (hi Becca, if you are reading this) parents are speaking. They're going back to Honduras in April:(where they've been living for a while as missionaries. Ooh another thing about Vision: Stellar Kart, a Christian band, is playing a concert that night:)!
My final word on everything that is happening: WHY CAN"T SUMMER COME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Bored
right now i'm posting because i am absolutely bored out of my mind. i'm trying to do some homework, which quite obviously isn't capturing my interest at the moment(then again, does it ever?) The weather, for you people who have decided to stay in your abodes all weekend and not see the light of day, is exquisite for this time of year, though still a little cold for my tastes. I am happy to report that last night, though we had a bible study and there was a glass table downstairs, everyone survived and there were no trips to the emergency room. By the way, this post really has no meaning, I'm just bored out of my mind and rambling. I'll try and post later if anything exciting happens.
I CAN'T WAIT TILL SPRING!!!!!

PJAS
So my last post took place at PJAS, which actually went till 9pm cuz of the snow. I'm really sick and tired of snow!!! but i digress. Any way, the whole point of posting is to say that... I GOT FIRST PLACE AT THE PJAS REGIONAL MEET AND NOW I' GOING TO STATES!!! wow that was challenging to type, cuz of course i used the shift key instead of caps lock. anyway, regionals were really exciting and also one of the scariest experiences of my ilfe. i absolutely hate presenting, but somehow i got through. Now i can't wait for states, on May 16-18.
Oh, little P.S. here: Thank you guys sooooooo much for actually reading the blog:) i didn't know that people actually would, but i've had three people already tell me by email or in person something about it. :) you guys are awesome!

In PJAS right now, again. till 6:30. It will be fun tho, except for the fact that we have only nine days left until the regional meet, and i'm still doing my presentation and memorizing my speech. so that's pretty scary. but other than that life is good. Last wednesday to Monday we had no school, and this was what happened for those 6 glorious days.
Wed-shoveling 2 feet of snow
Thurs. -Shoveling another 2 feet of snow
Fri-Really can't remember rite now. get back on that one.
Sat- Went to hand out lunches to the homeless guys around love park in philly. then went to a bible study where the two kids who live there, ages 6 and 2, fell thru a glass table. the girl, 2, fell on her face, yet somehow only got some minor injuries on her hands, tho i think her handis still bandaged. the boy had it wirse. he got his hand all sliced up by the glass, and one or two of his finger bones and had to get surgery on them. It was SCARY!!! we stayed up till two am waiting for my dad to drive them back from the ER.
Sun.- didn't go to church cuz we were all dead tired from staying up the night before. that night we had some people over, a family with 3 kids: two girls, 8 and 3, and a boy, either 4 or 5.
Mon.- the girl who fell thru the table(her name is Roshni) came to our house and we watched her while her mom was at work and her dad took her brother to the hospital. she is sooo cute! she's memorized bits of the Dr. Suess book Mr. Brown Can Moo! and was telling me some of the sounds that Mr. Brown makes.
Tues-back to school.... Sniff

So this is my second post today, but I felt like I had to write. as everyone knows, there was a ginormous earthquake in Haiti a week or so ago. I saw some pics from the earthquake and some of the videos from watching BBC at night, and they were so SAD! there was rubble everywhere, along with loads of people, both dead and alive. some of the worst things i saw, though, were the kids. at the end of the BBC report, there was a child sitting in the middle of all the pandemonium with his arms around his knees, looking completely bewildered and scared. there were little kids being pulled out of the rubble with absolutely no clue what was going on. these people absolutely need your help and prayers right now.
